The VLN excursions are day trips. They are available year round, including weekends and holidays. Whether you choose one of the VLN itineraries below, or build your own, it is best to estimate three to four addresses per hour, as driving time between addresses varies by location, day of the week, and the hour. Make your reservation by E-mail and/or by phone. Provide contact information (name, E-mail address, and phone number), along with the date, time, and Bay Area address for pick up and drop off. Reservations may be possible from one day to the next, but more advanced notice increases the likelihood of availability. Excursion costs cover a guide, transportation, and incidentals. The Guide Fee ($40.00/hour) is a flat rate per excursion and not applied on a per-person basis. Transportation costs are separate. They vary seasonally and may include vehicle rental, fuel, bridge tolls, and parking and admission fees. Incidentals such as meals, shopping, gratuities, and the like are discretionary.
